UEFA Euro 2020 is proving to be well worth the extra year we had to wait for it. The tournament is really hotting up now, and if the group stage hadn't already sent the country football mad, England's 2-0 win against Germany last night will surely have done the trick.
Our fondness for the beautiful game is just one of the reasons why ISO Accelerator is so proud to sponsor the Hamble Falcons, a local U11 girls' football team. Last year, we provided the Falcons with a covered pitchside bench that meant the players on the bench were able to stay comfortable and make their presence felt during each match. Naturally, we were over the moon when the Falcons finished the season 4 points clear at the top of the league table!
With the start of the 2021/22 season just around the corner, we at ISO Accelerator are once again doing our bit to support the Hamble Falcons. This year, we have supplied the team with cold weather jackets (see picture above) to keep the girls warm during training sessions and on match days.
Why we sponsor the team
When we relocated to our current premises in Hamble-le-Rice last year, we pledged that we would make an effort to connect with the local community:
"We look forward to integrating with the local community and businesses in Hamble. Although challenging in these times, every year we allocate a budget to sponsor local events. Keep your eyes peeled and we'll update you all on our local sponsorship programmes. Please also contact us if you are in the Hamble area and are looking for sponsorship - we'll do what we can to help."
Hamble Falcons were among the first groups to take us up on this offer, and since then, we have been supporting them every step of the way.
When we talk about looking after the environment, we're not just thinking about big goals like cutting CO2 emissions or reducing waste - we're thinking about our community and the people within it. We want to protect the planet so that everyone can have a good life, and to us, that means helping local charities and sports teams. This is just as important to us as our goal to take auditors off the road with our remote certification service.
