Business owner deciding whether to change ISO certification body

If you already hold an ISO certification (such as ISO 9001 or ISO 27001), you may be interested to know that you can change your certification body at any time.

Your certification body is the organisation that issued your certificate. Due to the international nature of ISO standards, and international agreements for the accreditation of certification bodies, your certification body does not need to be within your own country. You are free to 'shop around' and find a certification body that suits you, your customers’ requirements, and ultimately your budget.

Scan and See authentication

Certificate validation has always been a big problem for the certification and accreditation industry.

When you're deciding whether or not to work with a business that claims to be ISO certified, it's important to make sure their certificate is genuine and not a forgery that they mocked up and printed out themselves.

That's why we at ISO Accelerator launched the Scan and See© authentication system in early 2021.
